You may benefit from the financial assistance for the payment of nanny services, as provided by LAW no. 35 of March 31, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as financial assistance), within the limits of the annual budgetary funds approved for this purpose, if you have preschool-aged children in your care, whose incomes are up to 3,500 lei per family member and who are in one of the following situations:
- a)is the parent with whom the child permanently resides;
- b)has the status of legal representative of the child and is responsible for raising and caring for them;
- c)is the person designated by the parent for the care of the child during the parents' absence, pursuant to the provisions of art. 104 of LAW no. 272 of June 21, 2004 on the protection and promotion of the rights of the child, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions.
Eligibility criteria:
The financial assistance is granted monthly, for each preschool-aged child.
When determining the average net monthly income, the average net income earned by the beneficiary in the last 6 months prior to applying for the financial assistance is taken into account, in accordance with art. 8 para. (1) of LAW no. 416 of July 18, 2001 regarding the guaranteed minimum income, with subsequent amendments and additions.
In order to benefit from the financial assistance, the persons provided for in art. 1 must cumulatively meet the following conditions:
- a)to be a Romanian citizen domiciled in the municipality of Dorohoi, a citizen of another state or stateless, domiciled in Romania, under the conditions provided by the legislation in force;
- b)are employed under an individual employment contract or based on a service relationship, carry out independent activities, obtain income from intellectual property rights, income from agricultural, forestry or fishery activities, or hold a public office or an assimilated position.
Persons who do not meet the conditions provided for in para. (1) letter b) may also benefit from the financial assistance if they cumulatively meet the following conditions:
- a)are registered unemployed receiving benefits or are registered with the county employment agency as job seekers at the date of the application;
- b)have not refused more than two job offers from the county employment agency.
The granting of the financial assistance is made only for the child who is not enrolled in an accredited nursery/kindergarten (public/private) or for whom the applicant has not refused a place at an accredited nursery/kindergarten (public/private) within the municipality or has not withdrawn the child from an accredited nursery/kindergarten (public/private).
The financial assistance is granted on the basis of an application (according to the annex) and supporting documents certifying the fulfillment of the conditions provided in this methodology regarding the granting of financial assistance to families for the payment of nanny services.
