The document issued or authenticated by diplomatic missions or consular offices accredited in Romania, in the case of the marriage of a foreign citizen with a Romanian citizen, from which it results that the former meets the substantive conditions required by his/her national law and there are no impediments to concluding the marriage in Romania*

Documents issued by the competent authorities of the state of citizenship, recently dated - maximum 3 months from the date of issue -, or which specify within their content the validity period, for citizens of states with which Romania has concluded treaties, conventions, or agreements on legal assistance in civil matters or family law.*

The affidavit, authenticated by a notary public, stating that the future spouse, foreign citizen or stateless person, is not married and meets the substantive conditions required by their national law for concluding marriage in Romania, for citizens of states that do not have a diplomatic mission or consular office accredited in Romania, as well as for beneficiaries of international protection in Romania; in the case of stateless persons, the national law is the law of the state where they have their domicile or, as the case may be, residence*

The report, drawn up together with the authorized interpreter and translator or, as the case may be, the authorized interpreter of sign language or the language specific to people with deafblindness, in the case of marriage between persons who do not know the Romanian language or between persons with hearing or deafblindness impairments*

Notarial statements of the future spouses showing that they meet the necessary conditions for concluding the marriage in Romania, if applicable*

Written statement which is attached to the initial declaration, if the agreement regarding the family name occurred after submitting the declaration, but before the marriage is concluded*
