1. Legal basis:

Chap. II Provisions regarding the practice of the pharmacist profession on the territory of Romania by pharmacists who are citizens of an EU member state, a state belonging to the EEA or the Swiss Confederation
According to:
Art. 563 -The profession of pharmacist is practiced on the territory of Romania, under the conditions of this law, by natural persons holding an official pharmacy qualification, as follows:
a) citizens of the Romanian state;
b) citizens of an EU member state, a state belonging to the EEA or the Swiss Confederation;
c) the spouse of a Romanian citizen, as well as direct descendants and ascendants who are dependent on a Romanian citizen, regardless of their citizenship;
d) family members of a citizen of one of the states mentioned in letter b), as defined by Art. 2 para. (1) point 3 of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 102/2005 regarding the free movement on the territory of Romania of citizens of EU and EEA member states and of citizens of the Swiss Confederation, republished, with its subsequent amendments and completions;
e) third-country citizens who are beneficiaries of permanent resident status in Romania;
f) beneficiaries of long-term resident status granted by one of the states mentioned in letter b).
2. For pharmacists who are citizens of third countries
Required documents:
-
Letter issued by the Ministry of Education and Research – National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED) recommending the completion of an internship in a public or hospital pharmacy, approved by the College of Pharmacists of Romania;

Certificate of completion of the entire internship, in a public or hospital pharmacy;

Copy of bachelor's degree;
-
Copy of identity document;
-
Internship record book stamped and signed by the territorial College, where the pharmacy at which the internship was conducted is located.
3. Verification of language skills
According to Art. 5851*):
(4) The College of Pharmacists of Romania may verify language skills only after the European professional card for pharmacists is issued according to EU rules or, as appropriate, only after the recognition of the professional qualification of the pharmacist concerned.
When assessing language skills, the College of Pharmacists of Romania will take into account the duration of the activity to be carried out.
Proof of language skills can be provided with a language competence certificate.
