Social benefits remaining uncollected by the deceased person with disabilities, representing the indemnity and/or personal supplementary budget for the month in which the death occurred, and, where applicable, the social benefits due and unpaid until death, are paid to the surviving spouse, children, parents, or, in their absence, other heirs, under common law conditions, upon their request. The amounts provided above can be requested at the territorial agency for social payments and inspection by the heir, within the general limitation period, based on the document certifying heir status and, where there are multiple heirs, a statement on their own responsibility that the other heirs are not requesting these amounts.
