The transfer note is issued by the college where the pharmacist is registered, based on a request. Before the transfer note is issued, the requesting pharmacist is required to pay up to date the membership fee owed to the college from which they wish to leave. The transfer note will be handed over, with signature, to the applicant. In the pharmacist registry (https://portal.tm-c.eu/LstFarma/ColegFarm), the college to which the pharmacist has transferred will be indicated. If a complaint has been registered or a disciplinary investigation has been initiated at the college from which the pharmacist is transferring, the complaint or disciplinary file will be forwarded to the college to which the pharmacist is transferring.
*Resumption of membership is done based on a request, which the applicant, the pharmacist, submits to the headquarters of the territorial College, namely the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, requesting the resumption of membership starting from a certain date.
*The suspension of membership is carried out when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits an application to the headquarters of the territorial College, namely the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, requesting the suspension of membership. At the time of requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee until the end of the year and must meet the condition of continuous professional training by completing 40 EFC hours during that period.
The pharmacist is obliged to inform the Romanian College of Pharmacists within 30 days after resuming activity.
In order to proceed with issuing a duplicate of the Certificate of Membership of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit the complete documentation at the headquarters of the College of Pharmacists Bucharest, in accordance with the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the documents presented below.
*The membership certificate is granted to pharmacists who, by making an express request in this regard, meet the following conditions: they hold an official pharmacy qualification title, are not found in any cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law, are medically fit to practice as a pharmacist, have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years, have paid the registration fee (the fee is paid into the territorial college account IBAN CODE: RO46BTRLRONCRT0PC6567601 (RON) BANCA TRANSILVANIA 208 lei for persons who registered within 1 YEAR from graduation and 235 lei for other persons).
*Regarding the Current Professional Certificate, we would like to make the following clarifications:
In accordance with the provisions of the Pharmacy Law no. 266/2008 as consolidated and published in the Official Gazette no. 448/30.06.2009 Part I, as well as the Implementing Rules published in the Official Gazette no. 538/03.07.2009 Part I, pharmacists who will hold the position of chief pharmacist in a pharmaceutical unit (in cases of establishment of new pharmaceutical units, as well as changes of chief pharmacist - for those who will take over the position), will address the county colleges for obtaining the Current Professional Certificate.
Also, this document is necessary for pharmacists who wish to practice their profession outside the country's borders.
The methodology for drafting and issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by Decision of the National Council of C.F.R. no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.
Below we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be drafted by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issuance;
- Within a maximum of three days from receiving the request for issuing the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send the standard application to the College of Pharmacists of Romania for the drafting and issuance of the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receiving the application, C.F.R. will draft the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania, which will create and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will draw up a Register of records—with the identifying data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in that county—and will hand them over to applicants with acknowledgment of receipt.
The fee for issuing the Current Professional Certificate, in the amount of 100 lei, will be paid into the account of the territorial College RO46BTRLRONCRT0PC6567601 (RON) BANCA TRANSILVANIA ORADEA.
To obtain the Current Professional Certificate, the pharmacist will submit to the territorial college a file comprising the documents attached below.
